Swiss ball high plank is a dynamic exercise that will strengthen your core and shoulders.

Begin by carefully setting yourself set up in a long plank position, instead of using your elbows to support you, keep your arms out long with a slight bend in your elbows and the palms of your hand gripping the swiss ball. Keep your feet shoulder width apart to maintain good balance. Once in this position, tilt your pelvis under your body, tucking in your tailbone (this will help you to engage your core) and look ahead to your thumbs. The aim to have a straight line down from the top of your head, down your spine and legs until your heels.

As you start to build strength, you can narrow your base and bring your feet closer together to make this exercise more challenging!
