Please make sure you have read our support article on Using your Apple watch with Runna and getting the most out of it before diagnosing any issues.

The most common issue our users find with their Apple Watches is that they revoke health permissions without warning. This can cause problems with apps like Runna, making it so it can't show your pace and distance during a workout. To fix this, check your health and location permissions on your Apple Watch.

Health permissions

To check health permissions on an Apple Watch, follow these steps:

  1. On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app.

  2. Scroll down and press Health > Apps > Runna

  3. Check that all the toggles are ON

Location permissions

To check the location permissions on an Apple Watch, follow these steps:

  1. On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app.

  2. Scroll down and press Privacy > Location Services

  3. Check that all the toggles are ON

Once you've double-checked everything, fire up the Runna app and start a Free Run to make sure everything's good to go. If things still aren't working, let us know and we'll look into it more!
