Forward Fold is a yoga posture that connects the upper and lower body. It lengthens the spinal column and stretches the lower back and hamstrings.
Begin standing tall with your hands on your hips and then fold your torso towards your knees. Keep a gentle bend in the knees to avoid them locking! As you bend down, your hands can fall towards the ground. To deepen the stretch, breath in to extend your chest and lengthen your spine. As you exhale, straighten your legs to stretch into a position that feels comfortable for you. Hold for 5-8 breaths.
