Adding Yoga, Pilates, and Stretch & Stability to Your Runna Plan

Learn how to add yoga, pilates, and stretch & stability sessions to complement your Runna training plan.

While Runna plans are running-first, we know that cross-training is one of the most effective things you can do to support your running. That's why Runna offers four types of additional non-running workouts: Yoga, Pilates, Stretch & Stability and Strength.

How to Add Yoga, Pilates and Stretch & Stability to Your Plan

  1. Go to the Plan tab

  2. Tap Manage Plan

  3. Select the relevant Tab: Yoga, Pilates, or Stretch & Stability

  4. Tap Set up

  5. Choose your preferred day(s)

  6. Tap Add to plan

Your sessions will appear in your Training Calendar alongside your runs. You can move them around to suit your week the same way you would a running workout.


How to Edit Yoga, Pilates and Stretch & Stability Workouts from your Plan

  1. Go to the Plan tab

  2. Tap Manage Plan

  3. Select the relevant Tab: Yoga, Pilates, or Stretch & Stability

  4. Tap into Available days

  5. Choose your preferred day(s)

  6. Tap Update

This will update your preferred days throughout your plan.


How to Remove or Delete Yoga, Pilates and Stretch & Stability Workouts from your Plan

To remove them from your plan:

  1. Go to the Plan tab

  2. Tap Manage Plan

  3. Select the relevant Tab: Yoga, Pilates, or Stretch & Stability

  4. Tap Delete

This will remove all Yoga, Pilates and Stretch & Stability Workouts from your plan.

What Equipment Do I Need for Yoga, Pilates or Stretch & Stability Workouts in Runna?

No equipment needed! Some sessions may use a wall for support.

Will adding Yoga, Pilates or Stretch & Stability affect my running plan?

No, your running sessions stay unchanged. These workouts are designed to complement your training, not replace it.

Are These Sessions on YouTube?

Yes! Yoga, Pilates and Stretch & Stability content is also available on Runna’s YouTube channel. In-app sessions follow a progressive structure that unlocks weekly. YouTube sessions can be accessed in any order.

Do you support other types of cross-training?

Currently, the only cross-training we offer is Strength, Yoga, Pilates and Stretch & Stability. We don’t yet support any other types of non-running activities such as swimming, cycling, rowing or any type of sports like football or basketball.
