When you recorded a run on your Apple Watch or Apple Fitness but it’s not appearing in the Runna App, you can recover it by first checking if the run appears in Apple Fitness and/or Apple Health, then using the “Sync X Pending Workouts” prompt on Apple Watch, and, if the run is still not showing up, try a manual import.
Check if the run is visible in Apple Fitness
Before troubleshooting a missing run on the Apple Watch app, first confirm whether you can see the run in Apple Fitness.
If the run was recorded with Apple Fitness, also confirm it is visible in Apple Health.
If you cannot see the run in Apple Fitness at all, please contact support.
Check for a "Sync X Pending Workouts" prompt on your watch
If you can see the run in Apple Fitness, check your Runna Apple Watch app for a "Sync X Pending Workouts" prompt. This appears on the main screen of the app, right above the Free Run button.
This prompt can appear if a workout can't sync directly to the app for any reason, such as connectivity issues — so it saves locally to your watch first. This is normal and just makes sure you don't lose any data
Check whether tapping the prompt resolves the issue.
If the prompt doesn't resolve it — try a manual import
If your workout was recorded with Apple Fitness or the Runna Apple Watch App and is visible in Apple Health, try a manual import:
Go to Profile → Connected Apps & Devices → Apple Health → Sync Completed Activities → Import.
If this works, no further action is needed. If it doesn't, or if the workout is not visible in Apple Health at all, please contact support.
