Supported Watches

Most devices support workout syncing from Runna to the Zepp app, but importing workouts from Zepp to Amazfit watches is only available for the following devices: Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro and Amazfit Balance 2. We're actively working with Amazfit to extend workout syncing to other devices, so stay tuned for future updates!

To view the list of supported devices, go to: Zepp app → Workout tab → '+' in My Training Plan → View Supported Devices List.

Pairing Your Amazfit Watch with Your Runna Plan

To pair your Amazfit watch with your Runna plan:

  1. Open your Runna Profile

  2. Select Connected Apps and Devices → Watches → Connect Watch and choose Amazfit.

You’ll be prompted to log in with your Zepp credentials and upon successful connection, your Amazfit will appear under 'watches' in the Runna app.

Syncing Your Workouts from Runna to Amazfit

After connecting your Zepp account to Runna, our Amazfit integration will automatically sync the next two weeks of unlocked workouts to your Zepp App. You may need to manually trigger a sync to Zepp by scrolling down on the app's home screen and waiting for a tick to appear.

When you switch plan or edit your Runna plan, we’ll automatically update your workouts in your Zepp app for you. And when you mark a workout as complete, we’ll remove it from your Zepp profile.

Note: For users on a free week trial, you'll only be able to access workouts within that current week.

Syncing Completed Amazfit Workouts back to Runna

Once you’ve completed a run on your Amazfit device, your workout will automatically sync to the Runna app via the Zepp app.

For planned speed workouts, this sync enables automatic pace insight analysis in the Runna app. You’ll also receive any relevant mileage or training insights, helping you to understand how your workout went and any recommendations for your plan.

If you’ve connected Strava from within the Zepp app (see below), your activity will also sync from the Zepp app to Strava.

Syncing Your Amazfit Workouts to Strava

Connecting Strava to the Zepp app allows your workouts to automatically sync from your Amazfit device to Strava once your activity is complete. Past activities won’t sync retroactively - only workouts recorded after connecting Strava will be shared.

To connect Strava to your Zepp account:

  1. Open the Zepp app on your phone

  2. Tap Profile in the bottom-right corner

  3. Select Add accounts (or Third-party accounts, depending on your app version)

  4. Tap Strava from the list of available services

  5. You’ll be redirected to Strava - log in and authorize Zepp to connect to your account

  6. Once authorized, you’ll be taken back to the Zepp app, where Strava should now appear as connected

How to Start a Workout on Your Amazfit Watch

  1. On your Amazfit watch, press the side button to open the app list.

  2. Select Workout

  3. Choose Outdoor/Treadmill Run

  4. Wait for GPS to connect

  5. Tap Start to begin your run

  6. Complete your workout as planned.

  7. Tap Finish and save the activity on your watch.

Recommended settings to get the most out of your Amazfit Device

There are some settings that we recommend configuring to make the most out of your Runna workouts when downloaded to your Amazfit watch.

Turn off auto-lap

By default, your Amazfit watch will automatically create a new ‘lap’ every 1km or 1mi. For the longer splits that we set you (e.g., 2km repeats) this means that the splits will automatically be lapped (split into a new step in your run) mid-way through which makes analysing your average pace afterwards difficult. We recommend turning off auto-lap when following your Runna workouts, but also recommend turning it back on again if you’re going for a casual run, time trial or race so that your watch will keep you updated on your pace.

Turn off auto-pause

Auto-pause will automatically pause your workout when it detects that you’ve stopped moving (e.g., at traffic lights). However, this can be a problem when running interval workouts since while you’re resting, even if walking around, it can detect that you’ve stopped running and pause the workout including the timer to start running again.

We recommend turning off auto-pause and getting into the habit of manually pausing and resuming the workout when you are forced to stop running temporarily (e.g., at traffic lights).

Turn on Audio Prompts

If you connect your compatible Amazfit watch to your headphones to listen to music or podcasts, you can also receive pace and audio cues through your headphones during your run.

In the Runna app:

  1. Go to Plan → Profile (top-left)

  2. Select Phone Recording

  3. Make sure Run Splits and Pace Alerts are switched ON

  4. Adjust the volume if needed

On your compatible Amazfit watch:

  1. Open the Workout mode on your watch

  2. Go to Workout Settings or Settings → Workout Options

  3. Enable Voice Broadcast or Voice Prompts

On some Amazfit models, this option only appears once you enter the specific sport or activity settings.

If your watch does not support audio cues then you'll still receive vibration notifications. To enable these:

  1. Open the Zepp app on your phone

  2. Go to Profile → My Devices → [Your Amazfit] → Notifications & Reminders

  3. Enable App Notifications and toggle the apps you want alerts from

  4. Make sure your phone has granted notification access to the Zepp app so alerts can reach your watch

Can You Add Strength Workouts to Zepp?

At the moment, we can only support syncing 'Run' type workouts to and from your Zepp App, and to your Amazfit watch. However, you can still use our Calendar Sync Feature to schedule and track your strength training in the Runna app. We hope to enable syncing of other workout types in the future!

FAQs

Do I need to update my Runna app to enable the Amazfit integration?

Yes, you will need to be on at least app version 8.21.0. You can update your Runna app by heading to the App Store or Google Play Store.

I’m having trouble syncing my completed workouts from Zepp to Runna

If your watch is compatible with importing completed workouts into Runna, sync issues can sometimes be caused by a poor internet connection or a temporary connection error.

A quick workaround is to disconnect and reconnect your Amazfit account in Runna:

  1. In the Runna app, go to Connected Apps & Devices

  2. Disconnect Amazfit/Zepp

  3. Reconnect and follow the prompts to authorise again

I’m having trouble syncing my Amazfit activities to Strava

If your completed Amazfit activities aren’t showing on Strava:

  1. Check the activity appears in the Zepp app first (this confirms it has synced from the watch)

  2. In the Zepp app, disconnect and reconnect Strava

  3. Confirm you’re logged into the correct Strava account

What happens if I delete an activity in Zepp or on my Amazfit watch?

Once an activity has synced from Amazfit/Zepp to Runna, deleting it in Zepp or on the watch will not delete it in Runna.
