To troubleshoot a missing run from Garmin, Coros or Fitbit in Runna, first confirm the run is visible on the device itself, then check whether your Runna connection was set up before the run took place. If neither resolves it, a Strava fallback may be possible.
First Check: Is the Run Showing on Your Device?
Before troubleshooting on the Runna side, confirm the run is showing properly on your third-party device (Garmin, COROS, or Fitbit).
If the run is not showing on the device, this is a device recording issue and needs to be raised with the relevant third-party support team.
If the Run Is on the Device but Not in Runna
Check when the connection between your device (Garmin, COROS or Fitbit) and Runna was set up — specifically, whether it was set up before the run.
If the connection was set up after the run: The fact that the run is not showing up in Runna is expected behaviour, as only runs that are started after the connection will sync.
If the connection was set up before the run: We are unable to manually sync from third parties into Runna. However, we may be able to sync from Strava if you have the Strava and Runna connection established and the run exists in Strava. See the Strava Fallback section below.
Strava Fallback
If the run does exist in Strava and you have the Strava and Runna connection established, edit the title of the workout in Strava. This should make it re-upload to Runna.
Note: if the run does not exist in Strava, Runna cannot backfill missed workouts from these providers, and recovery is not possible unless the activity also exists in Strava.
