Have you got a race or goal date in mind?

If you're training for an event or goal with a specific date, then you should start with plenty of time to prepare. As long as the race is less than 26 weeks away then you can simply enter your race date (or select the race) and we’ll create you a plan that builds towards your goal sustainably, so that you can reach that PB on race day.

If the number of days per week that you have available for training is a concern, then starting sooner will also help reduce the intensity of your plan and number of days per week that you need to fit in training.

If the race is more than 26 weeks away, think of this as time to work on your baseline fitness. Check out this article on training for a goal when you’ve got some extra time to play with, or this article on training for the longer term goal.

Don’t have a race or goal date in mind?

If you don’t have a race or goal date in mind then let’s get you started straight away!

Even if you have key events like Birthdays, trips or special occasions coming up that might affect your training schedule, you can adjust your Runna plan around these. Rearranging your workouts within the week or coming back to your training will not be a problem.

Getting started with your training is exciting, and if you decide to start training for a race or specific goal then you can change your plan at any time to meet your needs.
