Free Premium Trial

If you choose to subscribe to a free trial of Runna Premium, this will be handled through the Google Play Store, Apple App Store or Paddle (our web payments partner). You will need to confirm your payment details to access the trial, but you will not be charged for Runna Premium until after your free trial has ended.

Your trial will activate as soon as you've confirmed your payment details, and you will need to cancel your trial prior to the expiry date if you do not wish to be charged for a subsequent subscription.

Please note: Due to App Store limitations, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial is due to renew to make sure you aren't charged.

Free Access

If you choose not to start a free trial, or if you unsubscribe from Runna Premium, you’ll still have access to the Runna app - just with more limited features.

You’ll continue to get free access to Week 1 of any plan, so you can explore and find the right plan for you. You’ll also still be able to use key app features such as:

  • Recording runs

  • Importing activities

  • Viewing your completed workouts

However, you won’t be able to access, record, or sync planned workouts beyond Week 1, receive coaching guidance from our Customer Support team and Premium Offers will be unavailable.

Free Plans

You can access the following plans free of charge, even without Runna Premium:

  • New To Running

  • Returning To Running

  • Path to parkrun

If you choose to unsubscribe from Runna Premium, your data will remain saved against your account so you can always resubscribe and pick up where you left off!

Runna Premium

Monthly subscription

If you have a Monthly Runna Premium subscription, you’ll be able to view and access all workouts scheduled in the next month (4 weeks) of your plan. Any workouts beyond this timeframe will remain locked and will automatically unlock as you progress through your plan.

If you don’t want to start from Week 1, you can skip to a specific week in your plan. Once you’ve skipped to your chosen week, you’ll be able to access the four weeks following that week. Please note that you can only skip weeks once per week.

Annual subscription

If you have an annual Runna Premium subscription, you will be able to view and access your entire training plan, including the details of every workout. Again, you can only skip weeks once per week.

Switching subscription types

To change between a Monthly and Annual subscription, you’ll need to cancel your existing subscription first. Once your current subscription cycle ends, you can then resubscribe to your preferred subscription type.

FAQs & Troubleshooting

If I delete my Runna account, will my Premium subscription stop and will I still be charged?

Deleting your Runna account or uninstalling the Runna app will not cancel your subscription, and you may still be charged.

Can I cancel my Runna subscription at any time?

Yes! If you have a monthly subscription, you can cancel at any point and you’ll retain access for the rest of the month. If you have paid for the annual subscription, you can still cancel at any time and retain access for the remainder of the 12 month period since your billing date.

Can I get a refund for Runna Premium?

If you accidentally subscribed to Runna Premium or are having issues using the app, please reach out to our in-app Support Team. We’ll do our best to resolve your concerns and guide you through the refund process if you’d still like to proceed.

Please note: refunds are processed by the platform you subscribed through (Apple, Google, Paddle or Strava) and they are responsible for approving or denying refund requests. If your subscription was purchased on the web via Paddle, you can also request support directly via the Paddle Order Support Portal.

Am I going to be charged after my free trial of Runna Premium/when can I expect to be charged?

If you don’t cancel before your free trial ends, you’ll be charged automatically when the trial expires. You can check your renewal date via:

  • The Runna app > Profile (top right)

  • The Paddle Customer Portal (web subscriptions)

  • The Subscriptions section of your App Store / Google Play Store
