So you’ve purchased the Strava + Runna Subscription, nice work! Now it’s time to link your accounts so you can unlock access to Runna Premium and get the most out of your training.
This article walks you through exactly how to connect your accounts, what to expect after syncing, and what to do if something goes wrong.
You’ve Bought the Joint Subscription, Now What?
After buying the Strava + Runna Subscription (via Strava’s website, iOS App Store, or Android Play Store), you’ll receive a confirmation page and email from Strava. Inside, you’ll find a special link that guides you to unlock Runna Premium.
To activate your subscription, you must connect your Runna and Strava accounts. This confirms your access to Runna Premium and ensures that your training data syncs across in future!
How to Connect Your Accounts
If you’re new to Runna:
Click the link in your confirmation email.
You’ll be taken to the App Store to download the Runna app.
Once installed, create your account.
When prompted, sync with Strava to unlock Runna Premium.
If you already use Runna, but you've never connected to your Strava account:
Click the link from your confirmation email or success page.
Sign in to your existing Runna account.
You’ll be shown a prompt to connect your Strava account. This is what activates your Premium access.
If you’ve already connected Runna + Strava
Click the link in your email.
Open the Runna app (you may need to log in).
You’ll see a confirmation screen showing your Premium access is now active!
What Happens If I Disconnect Strava?
If you disconnect your Strava account from Runna at any point, you will lose access to Runna Premium.
To stay on your joint subscription, your accounts must remain connected for the full subscription period.
