Already Using Runna Premium? Here’s What to Do

If you’re a current Runna Premium subscriber...

On a Monthly Plan? Your Switch is Simple

If you're on a monthly Runna or Strava Subscription, simply cancel your plan and purchase today the Strava + Runna Subscription directly through Strava (or wait for your current plan to expire to avoid any overlap).

On an Annual Runna Plan?

Reach out to Runna CX in the app, where we'll be able to guide you through the steps to switch to the Strava + Runna Subscription.

If You Purchased Your Runna Subscription Through a Partner or Gift Card

If you originally purchased your Runna plan thorugh a partner or with a gift card, you won't be able to extend that subscription directly—but don't worry, there's a way to switch to the joint Strava + Runna Subscription! And don't worry, you won't lose any progress made on your plan.

Here's how:

  1. Reach out to our Runna CX team and let us know you'd like to make the switch

  2. We'll help you connect your Runna and Strava accounts

  3. Then, you'll be able to purchase the joint subscription via Strava Web

Once everything's set up, we'll work with Strava to extend your access to match the joint subscription offer. This can take up to 3 working days, but you'll be able to start using both apps right away.

Already subscribed to both Runna & Strava? Here’s What to Do

  1. Cancel your current Runna subscription

  2. Head to Strava and purchase the Strava + Runna Subscription

If you're an existing Strava iOS subscriber

You will pay full price for the new subscription at checkout. After purchase, Apple will automatically issue a pro-rated refund based on the time remaining on your current Strava iOS subscription. No manual action from the Runna team is needed in this case, it's all handled by Apple.

If you're an existing Strava Android subscriber

Instead of a refund, the length of your new joint subscription is automatically extended based on the value remaining on your existing Strava Android subscription. This all happens in the background, no need to reach out to Runna CX.

If you're an existing Strava Web subscriber

You will get a discount applied to your new subscription, which is shown at checkout. There is no refund for Web subscribers.

Reach out to Strava Support with any additional Strava subscription-related FAQs.

Note: we're not able to offer full refunds of existing Runna annual subscriptions, and instead will be offering subscription extensions of the joint bundle so that you don't miss out!

For example, if you have four months remaining on your Runna annual subscription then you'll receive an additional 6-month extension on top of your new joint subscription when you purchase it.
