Runna is designed to help you reach your training goals with a fully customizable and easy-to-navigate app. But for those who want a deeper dive into the cool features available with Runna, we’ve created this guide to walk you through some features you can use to tailor your plan to fit your needs and stay on track.

Today tab

The Today Tab is your daily hub for everything you need:

  • Workout details: See exactly what’s planned for the day—whether it’s a run, strength session, or rest day.

  • Expert tips: Get insights to make the most of your workout.

  • Weekly mileage: Easily view your mileage for the week at a glance.

This tab ensures you’re always ready and focused on your next step.

Plan tab

The Plan Tab is where you can view and adjust your entire training plan. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Update your running ability: Adjust your plan to match your current fitness level.

  2. Switch training modes: Choose modes like beginner, intermediate, or advanced based on your goals.

  3. Adjust elevation profiles: Train for specific terrain or races.

  4. Set weekly runs: Decide how many runs you’ll complete each week.

  5. Choose units: Switch between miles and kilometers.

  6. Add strength, mobility, and Pilates: Balance your running with complementary training.

This tab gives you full control to create a plan that works for you.

Training calendar

The Training Calendar, located in the top right hand corner, lets you see your weekly workouts at a glance. Need to make changes? No problem:

  • Drag and drop workouts to move them one week forward or back.

  • Quickly check your progress and upcoming sessions.

This feature keeps you organized and flexible.

Adding a holiday

If you’re taking time off, you can easily add a holiday in the Plan Tab. Your training plan will automatically adjust to account for the break, so you can return without missing a beat.

Instant workouts

For added flexibility, check out Instant Workouts in the Today Tab:

  • Choose tailored sessions, like speed work or recovery runs, to fit your immediate needs.

  • Even add specific options like park runs for variety.

Instant Workouts let you stay active and on track, no matter your schedule.

Plan adjustment tray

Life happens, and sometimes you miss a workout or two. When this happens, the Plan Adjustment Tray provides options to keep you moving forward:

Option 1: Rearrange or skip missed workouts.

Option 2: Restart your current plan, start a new plan, or continue unchanged.

Runna's flexibility ensures that you can adapt your plan without losing momentum.

Syncing with your favorite wearable devices
